However....
Here we are Friday, January 15th at forty minutes past the six o' clock hour and I am scouring the New Times (SLO's arts and events calendar) wondering what on earth will fill my night? And I am remiss to tell you anything that interesting I have in mind.
I already watched a movie (a very anti-social event), I thumbed through my latest InStyle (never that exciting post holidays), and had a "virtual" hang time with a friend online (let's be honest not at all close to the real thing).
TGIF for goodness sakes!!!
I could go out with my friend to the bars (been there, done that and really not wanting to go back unless with a group). I could go to Barnes n Noble (but there are no more dates with Donald and I'd rather be with a real guy than the pages about a guy).
I've landed on going with my roomie to hear some live music at Linneas (good coffee and baked goods). So I'm wondering, what do you think a lovely singleton like me should be doing tonight? Where should I go on my Fridays this year? I'd love your input and ideas.

arrange a downtown scavenger hunt with friends, throw a dinner party, dessert drop off to friends, arrange flowers, make a short 2 min film/music video, girls night in, volunteer somewhere, etc, etc, etc...the 2010 possibilities are endless! :)
