The Nook!

Those were pics of what my family has affectionately coined as "The Nook"--my new little home! And what would this blog be without an updated pic of the niece and nephew---it's grrreat having them nearby!

Please note I'm writing this in orange...I know it's not "officially" fall but I feel it in the air, don't you? Kids walking to school, breezy nights, new fall line up for TV (not a strike this year!). However, I will not buy a pumpkin for my cute patio until Sept 22!

Well it's been over a month now that I've begun my new little life in SLO. And I gotta be honest, I don't miss the OC. I miss my friends a lot, but not the scene. Still a barista at SBUX and just started nannying a little 4 mos old and her older 9 yr old brother. Makes for a nice mix!

I wonder what God has in store for me here? I feel at home yet He's been reminding me we are never home until we are back with him. I know this is temporary, but a gift nonetheless to which I am thankful! I feel inspired here--artistically, personally, hey let's hope romantically (o;
