Celebration Friday

Today we pause to celebrate morning dawn.

It rained and the leaves and trees sing of it. Their cleansing, sustenance, and life rejuvenated.

We all long for the sun, the light, the glory. But we need the rain. We need the clouds that come to cover over, we need the dark to see the light, the cumulonimbus tears that fall to cleanse and release.
And, ah, the sweet air that wafts on by when the cleansing and replenishment of the sacred droplets have done their work.  All creation sings of renewal!

But you were washed, you were sanctified, you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. I Corinthians 6:11b
